Bollywood actress Anita Raj is known for her roles in Ghulami (1985), Zara Si Zindagi (1983), and Zameen Aasman (1984). She started her acting career in 1981, at the age of 18, with the film Prem Geet. Raj is a trained dancer and has learned Kathak under the guidance of late Pandit Birju Maharaj. She is also a trained singer and has sung playback for several of her films. Raj is married to film director Sunil Hingorani, and they have a son named Shivam. She is currently active in the entertainment industry and has appeared in shows such as Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani (2015-2017) and Choti Sarrdaarni (2019-present).
