Indian actress Regina Cassandra can be seen in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada motion pictures. At nine years old, she began anchoring for the kids' channel Splash before going on to work in advertising. Her acting career has included a number of short films; most notably, she costarred with Adith Arun in Balaji Mohan's Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi, which was eventually adapted into a 2012 feature film of the same name. Regina next appeared in K. M. Chaitanya's Kannada film Suryakaanti, which was directed by the renowned Aa Dinagalu filmmaker. She acted out parts in English and added Kannada to them because she couldn't speak the language. She costarred in the movie with actor Chetan. The movie received positive reviews and did alright at the box office.
