Addressing the speculations, Manoj Bajpayee said, “I don’t think this will happen. Right now, we are focused on completing the four seasons of Family Man. We have to finish that commitment first then we might think of something. But I don’t think these universes will get merged because Family Man in itself is a very big universe. I think neither Raj and DK or Amazon would want to mix it with something else.”

Also at a point you will see Vijay’s character talking to someone named Tiwari on a phone call, maybe a reference to The Family Man’s character Srikant Tiwari. These instances made its fans believe in the merger of these two universes.

Suparn S Varma, the writer of “The Family man” addressed these speculations as well and said, “I guess everyone will have to wait till Season 3 of The Family Man comes out to know what is theory and what is speculation. Let’s not add fuel to the fire. Let the audience have fun till Season 3 of The Family Man comes out. That’s the fun of it. That’s a beautiful relationship the audience creates when they love a show and the characters.”
