Bhatt, who was set to play the iconic character alongside Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, cited scheduling conflicts as the primary reason for her departure. The movie had already created a lot of hype in the entertainment world since it had promised to be a spectacle remake of an Old Indian epic Ramayana.
