Summary: The greatest fashion moments from the Met Gala 2024, from Alia Bhatt and Isha Ambani backing Indian designers to Doja Cat appearing in a damp T-shirt.

Alia Bhatt, Isha Ambani, Natasha Poonawalla, and Mona Patel represented India and presented some of the most stunning ensembles seen at the Met Gala 2024. Indian designers also had a big moment at the Met, with pieces by Sabyasachi, Rahul Mishra, and Gaurav Gupta on display. Sabyasachi also walked the Met Gala carpet as a guest.

As a swarm of celebrities gathered at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on May 6 for the highly anticipated Met Gala 2024, the space turned into 'The Garden of Time' (the dress code).

This year's green-tinted carpet surrounded by flora saw celebrities flaunt their floral influence openly and extravagantly. Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, and Cardi B lead the fashion parade with standout looks at fashion's biggest night.

Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt returned to walk the coveted international annual fashion event's green and white carpet on Tuesday, May 7, following her Met Gala debut in 2023. She wore a saree by Sabyasachi Couture. The actress wore a hand-embroidered floral saree with a lengthy trail, following this year's dress code, "The Garden of Time."

Photos of Alia's beautiful carpet moments were shared on social media. Before walking the carpet, the actor spoke with Ashley Graham about her experience attending the gala for the second time.

"I'm feeling wonderful and really excited. It's my second time at the Met Gala, but this is the first time I've worn a saree. When I thought about the clothing code for 'The Garden of Time,' I knew it needed to be timeless, and nothing is more timeless than a sari," Alia explained.

Isha Ambani embraced floral dreams unlike anyone else. She donned a custom-made Rahul Mishra saree gown with the most stunning train, that was entirely adorned in the designer's distinctive flower patterns. The gorgeous golden gown had delicate glimpses of flowers, butterflies, and dragonflies and took over 10,000 hours to make.

Doja Cat, who gained notoriety for her wild sense of style, committed the atonement of attending the Met Gala in a gown made of a damp T-shirt.
