Summary: Ananya Panday drew attention by wearing a gorgeous aqua-blue suit that Rohit Bal designed for her mother, Bhavna Pandey, 21 years ago.

Ananya recently attended her cousin Deeya Shroff’s wedding and instead of wearing a saree to the function, she chose a gorgeous blue ethnic dress as a tribute to the late Rohit Bal.

Ananya Panday wore a handmade salwar suit that famous fashion designer Rohit Bal, affectionately known as Gudda, designed for Bhavana Pandey 21 years ago as a way of honoring him.

She posted some pictures from the wedding with a caption, " BriDEEEEEE @deeyashroff obsessed with my sister getting married but also not ready to let go of her yet but also very excited to have a brother now !! @mihirmadhvani. Also wearing my mom's @rohitbalofficial from 21 years ago! Gudda forever (heart emoji)."

She was the last one to walk for Rohit Bal, who was clearly ill. The actor had shared pictures from the last event on her Instagram handle with the caption, "Walking for and with @rohitbalofficial. What a fashion dream filled with so much emotion and it’s always fun to be back with my family, @lakmeindia @lakmefashionwk."

Rohit Bal was taken to the intensive care unit at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram in November 2023 due to problems from his pre-existing heart issue. He had been dealing with the condition since 2023.

He resumed work earlier while dealing with health issues, and last month he launched his most recent collection at Delhi's Lakme India Fashion Week.

During the walk, he stumbled upon the stage, making his fans worried about his safety. However, on November 1, Rohit Bal, 63, passed away from a heart attack.

Ananya Pandey’s work front:

She recently appeared in quite a few projects. In 2023, her movie “Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan” was on Netflix and was loved by the audience. She was also seen in CTRL and Call Me Bae.

She briefly appeared in her mother’s show, “Fabulous Lives vs. Bollywood Wives.” “Chand Mera Dil” is her upcoming movie alongside Lakshya. It will be produced by Karan Johar and hit theaters in 2025.
