The Kashmir Files also mentioned Article 370, but the movie never touched the topic too deeply. Now two years later, the film “Article 370” directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale focuses on the history of article 370 which gives a special status to the people of Jammu & Kashmir. The movie showcases the events that led to the abolishment of Article 370.

Article 370 stars Yami Gautam and Priyamani in the lead roles. The movie educated you about what Article 370 really is, the movie has a simple narrative and keeps you hooked for most of the part. There are many individuals who are unaware of the workings of article 370, reason for its nullification and revocation and much more. The movie is 2 hours 30 minutes long. The movie outstandingly depicts the involvement of politics on a deeper level with simplicity, the movie is very engaging from the viewers point of view.

You can say that Article 370 is an extension to The Kashmir Files, but from a different perspective and lens. The film doesn’t get involved in the propaganda and only sticks to the story and states facts just like they happened. Watching the movie you will know the filmmaker has done the thorough research and that is the winning point of the movie.
