Ayushmann Khurrana discusses 'Dream Girl 2': 'Portraying a female character is quite challenging.'

Dream Girl 2, a film directed by Raaj Shandaliya and produced by Ekta Kapoor starring versatile actor Ayushmaan Khurrana is “nothing but a laughing riot”. This statement was said by the actor himself. 

Getting ready for the release of his new movie “Dream Girl 2”, the actor shared about his experience on set. He said that there never was a quiet moment while making the film, the whole set was oozing with laughter. He also mentioned how he had a difficult time playing this role as he had to switch between his two roles as Karam and Pooja while also making sure all the comedy and jokes timing was right on point.

He also talked about the director saying "Our director, Raaj Shandilya, who is known for his comedic talent, has successfully brought together a diverse and outstanding group of actors. Hats off to him for this impressive casting achievement."

The ensemble cast of Dream Girl 2 stars Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Asrani, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh, and Seema Pahwa.

Ayushmann mentioned, "Our time on set was always filled with laughter and excitement. I believe this lively atmosphere will come through on the screen when audiences watch 'Dream Girl 2' in cinemas. I hope our film brings genuine laughter and joy to everyone who watches it."

The movie is all set to release on 25th August 2023.
