The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2024 was held on Tuesday evening in Mumbai. The award ceremony saw many huge celebrities like ShahRukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Vikrant Massey, Kareena Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Sandeep Reddy Vanga and many more.

Most awards were grabbed by the Jawan cast. Jawan hit the theaters last year and minted more than ₹1000 crore at the box office worldwide. The film was directed by Atlee, and starred ShahRukh Khan and Nayanthara, along with Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sanjay Dut (Cameo role).

Whereas Animal was the biggest blockbuster of 2023, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga won the Best Director Award. Although the movie was criticized for being misogynistic and toxic. The movies starred actors Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby Deol.
