Summary: Deepika Padukone recognized the combined influence of herself and her husband, Ranveer Singh, while also expressing her aspirations for a global presence.

Deepika Padukone, who is gaining attention for her cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s film “Jawan”, recently disclosed that she commands a substantial fee when collaborating with her Bollywood superstar husband, Ranveer Singh. During an interview with a magazine, the “Jawan” actress confessed to their premium pricing strategy when working as a couple, stating, “Indeed, we do charge a premium when we collaborate. I believe our positioning is rather distinctive.”

However, Deepika also shared that she waived her fees for making special appearances in her husband’s films, “83” and “Cirkus”. In “83”, where she had an extended cameo as Romi, Kapil Dev’s wife, Deepika was also a co-producer. Additionally, she performed in a special dance number alongside her husband in Rohit Shetty’s “Cirkus” without charging a fee.

Explaining the rationale behind their pricing when appearing together on screen, Deepika stated, “Typically, power couples have imbalances, but that’s not the case for us. Moreover, both of us have built our careers from the ground up, and that’s a source of immense pride for us. Attaining success based on merit and staying true to our own paths sets us apart.”

In the same interview. Deepika Padukone shared that her husband, Ranveer Singh, believes she has a remarkable talent for mimicry, yet he notices her getting quite nervous when he encourages her to showcase it in public. She remarked, “I’m a proficient mimic. According to my husband, I possess hidden mimicry talents that are waiting to be discovered, but somehow, when the cameras are rolling and he puts me on the spot to mimic sommeone in front of an audience, it doesn’t come naturally. However, I excel at mimicry when it’s just my sister and my husband.” It’s worth noting that Ranveer had previously demonstrated his own mimicry skills on Karan Johar’s show, “Koffee With Karan 7.”

Deepika Padukone recently secured the role of a global ambassador for the prestigious fashion brand Louis Vuitton, an opportunity that initially felt like a prank to her. She went on to explain, “While I was serving as a jury member at the Cannes festival, I was driving along the promenade, and to my right, I saw his massive LV store featuring my own image. That’s when the relaity of the situation truly sank in. It was a realization of everything I had hoped for in terms of representing India on a global scale.”
