Karan Johar Posts First Test Look from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Fans Drop Mixed Reactions

Filmmaker Karan Johar has put out a picture on his Instagram account, from his next project. The Bollywood news reveals that it is the first look test of the film – Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Karan is directing a Bollywood movie after more than 7 years. The poster shows Alia Bhatt wearing a pink sleeveless blouse and a printed peach saree, sporting golden earrings. She also has a black bindi on her forehead. The Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh wears a printed red shirt with his arm wrapped around the actress. The couple seems to pose for the camera with a slight smile.

Another user on Instagram said a comment that he could not wait for this blockbuster movie. An individual also said that both the actors are a perfect example of ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. There were several who appreciated the first release of the poster from the film. And fans kept pouring well wishes, which were captured on Bollywood news. The word about the initial look spread equally among the fans and critics.

As per Bollywood news, many people did not like the poster. A person said that they seem like siblings, the song released does not reflect romance, and that casting is a big flop. Another individual noted that Alia looks like Isha and Ranveer like Ram. The Bollywood news saw another person suggesting the actor’s hair to be shorter and that he should carry a clean-shaven look.

An Instagram user also wrote that Ranveer could have looked more like a chocolate boy and softer. Then others opined that the Bollywood actor looks like a villain more than a hero and his appearance is highly disappointing. Karan recently unveiled the first song from the movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani - Tum Kya Mile.

He shared the song on Instagram and wrote that a fitting love song is necessary for a love story. According to Bollywood News, Karan Johar further wrote that he is blessed to have the song emerge in the film’s story. The Bollywood movie will release on 28 July 2023, in cinemas. The star cast in titular roles includes Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.
