Summary: Marvel reveals the cast for “The Fantastic Four” a movie adaption for one of it’s longest running comic series. The movie is all set for release next year.


Yesterday, on February 14, 2024, on the day of valentine’s Marvel’s revealed the cast for “The Fantastic Four” and they are Pedro Pascal, Venessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn. Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic), Venessa Kirby as Susan Storm (The Invisible Woman), Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (The Thing) and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (The Human Torch).

Marvel Studios posted on its official twitter handle the image of Fantastic Four’s in retro illustrated valentine’s card, which makes you wonder if the movie will be set in the 60s. The caption for the post read, “Happy Valentine’s Day from Marvel’s First Family! Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach are the cast for The Fantastic Four. Marvel Studios' #TheFantasticFour, in theaters July 25, 2025.”

Marvels also announced the release date for the movie, July 25, 2025. The Fantastic Four is one of the marvels longest running comic books, and the characters are one of the most loved by the readers, they are often referred to as the “First Family of Marvel”. The comic was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. It is the story about scientists who turned into superheroes, and offers a cynical humor whenever they interact. When the novel debuted in November of 1961, it created a path for Spider-Man and Iron Man.

The first movie adaption of The Fantastic Four came in 2005 along with the sequel under 20th Century Fox, with the cast Ioan Gruffadd as Reed, Jessica Alba as Susan, Chris Evans played Johnny Storm and Michael Chiklis was Ben Grimm. There was another movie adaptation, also under Fox in 2015, with the cast Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Bell, however, the movie was highly criticized by the critics and lost over $80 million. Later when Fox was acquired by Disney, it brought back the marvel characters under its parent authority.
