Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Mindy Kaling, and Academy Award-winning producer Guneet Monga Kapoor have all publicly endorsed the film, which depicts the moving story of a young girl's bravery and the tough decisions she must make for her future.

"Anuja," directed by Adam J. Graves and produced by Suchitra Mattai, is the story of a 9-year-old girl named Anuja and her elder sister, Palak, working in a back-alley clothing factory.

As the story advances, Anuja must make a decision that will change her life and impact her family's well-being in addition to her own.

The movie is shortlisted for a nomination in the Best Live Action Short Film category at the 97th Academy Awards. Starring in it are Nagesh Bhosle (Mr. Verma), Sajda Pathan (Anuja), and Ananya Shanbhag (Palak). Anuja is a positive story about two sisters who are trying to find happiness and opportunity in a society that wants to take advantage of and exclude them.

The film explores the themes of hope, resiliency, and the difficulties faced by working children in poor environments.

Producer Guneet Monga Kapoor expressed her enthusiasm for the movie's over-the-top (OTT) release, describing it as "a story of unparalleled courage, made with a lot of heart."
