On the set of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Akshay Kumar, who is renowned for completing his own stunts in movies, was hurt during filming an action scene. The movie, which was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, also features Tiger Shroff. The actor was hurt while filming in Scotland. Although the actor is still shooting the movie, the injury is not too serious.

When this accident occurred, Akshay was performing a specific stunt while filming an action scene with Tiger. Now, he has braces on his knee. The actor is currently filming his close-ups in order to ensure the Scotland plan can be completed on time, the source continued, adding that the action scenes have been temporarily postponed.

Jackky Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment are the producers of the movie. He has previously stated that he wants Bade Miyan Chote Miyan to be India's response to the Fast and Furious series. He reasoned that he wanted to create Bade Miyan Chote Miyan to be India's Hobbs & Shaw and India's Fast & Furious, including intense action and humor between the characters rather than in the story.

The producer claimed that before bringing Ali Abbas Zafar, he first approached Akshay for the role.  He said that Akshay Sir was his choice, and he was really pleased. Who will I bring aboard as Chote Miyan, he asked me. He said, "Fantastic," after the producer added, "Tiger." He went to Ali Abbas Zafar, one of the biggest directors in the nation, as soon as the stars were on board.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar said that the movie has no relation with the 1988 film that starred Govinda and Amitabh Bachchan. But definitely, the film has the same title. However, it is not connected to the old film. But since the name of the movie is Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the audience can expect an interesting twist in the movie.

And possibly there is some factor in the movie, which acts as an ode to the legendary film of the past. The movie is slated to be released on December 2023. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Sonakshi Sinha.
