Karishma Tanna Will Be Seen in Netflix Series Scoop, Spoke About Her Low Phase in Career After Sanju

Karishma Tanna, a television actor, experienced a career turning point when she was placed opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Rajkumar Hirani's Sanju. She anticipated receiving other film proposals in the wake of the movie's success but that did not happen. Tanna recently disclosed that she was unemployed for a year following the release of Sanju. The movie detailed the life of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, including his struggles with drugs, his participation in the 1993 Mumbai bombings, and his love life.

Vicky Kaushal and Anushka Sharma also had significant roles in the film, which also starred Ranbir Kapoor in the title role. In an interview, Karishma Tanna stated that she believed Sanju, despite the minor role, will allow her to get something out of it in life. But nothing took place. Whatever films or projects she had anticipated after the movie did not materialize. She was jobless for about 8 months to a year. What was confusing is, she had only had four scenes but received accolades from the critics.

In the movie Sanju, Karishma Tanna had a special appearance. She said following Sanju, she thought she will find work immediately as she had high hopes for the industry. She did not know sometimes you fall into a pit of despair and ask yourself, "What does life want?" What can you do to promote your acting career? The actress claimed that all of this made her feel 'depressed' and wonder about the future of her profession.

Karishma entered a melancholy stage where she thought her life was dull and not colorful. She had no idea what to do with her career. She was messaging folks to inquire about her performance in Sanju. Tanna continued that she managed through the challenging period by doing several Instagram ads until she began receiving opportunities from digital platforms.

The actress will now appear in Hansal Mehta's Scoop, a Netflix series. The series, takes its cue from Jigna Vora's biographical book 'Behind the Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison'. She will play the part of a crime journalist. The series will commence on Netflix on June 2. It is conceived by Mrunmayee Lagoo Waikul and Hansal Mehta. It is produced by Matchbox Shots.
