Zee Cine Awards 2023: Alia Bhatt and Kartik Aaryan Win Best Actor, Here is a Complete List of Winners for You

The Zee Cine Awards 2023 was held in Mumbai on Sunday night. Several top celebrities attended it such as Kiara Advani, Alia Bhatt, Kartik Aaryan, and more.

The Zee Cine Awards night was for Kartik Aaryan and Alia Bhatt for their mega performances in 2022. The maximum number of awards went to the Brahmasta movie. Alia Bhatt won the best actor for female for Gangubai Kathiawadi, while Kartik Aaryan won the best male actor for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Best film award went to The Kashmir Files. Anupam Kher won the Viewers’ Choice best actor for this same movie.

Performer of the year female award went to Kiara Advani for the movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Jug Jugg Jeeyo. Anil Kapoor won the best supporting actor male for Jug Jugg Jeeyo whereas Rashmika Mandanna won the best debut for Goodbye. Varun Dhawan won performer of the year male for Bhediya and Jug Jugg Jeeyo.

Alia Bhatt shared a picture of herself on her Instagram account, holding the Best Actor trophy. And it was her husband, Ranbir Kapoor who clicked this picture. The post thanked the Zee Cine Awards for bestowing the honor, and that how Alia was at a loss of words being grateful to Bhansali productions. She also mentioned on her Instagram story that Ranbir was patient to go for a click at 2 AM.

After childbirth, Alia Bhatt took a hiatus from work in November 2022 with her husband Ranbir Kapoor, and daughter Raha Kapoor. Alia however had a great show in 2022 with 4 big releases such as Brahmastra, Darlings, RRR, and Gangubai Kathiawadi. All of these had superb performances at the box office. Alia also bagged the Viewers’ Choice best actress for Darlingss.

In her next movie - Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, Karan Johar’s directorial project, Alia Bhatt will start opposite Ranveer Singh. The duo had earlier acted together in the film, Gully Boy. The movie will also have stars such as Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi. It is supposed to release in July 2023.
