With a 2026 release date set, director Deepak Kumar Mishra has officially announced that filming on Panchayat Season 4 has already started, following the exciting end of Season 3.

Not only that, but Mishra also revealed that a fifth season is in development, promising even more of the endearing and captivating narrative that viewers have grown to adore.

Starring Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, and Sanvikaa is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Panchayat is set in the quiet village of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh, following the lives of an urban engineering graduate who, in his role as a local Gram panchayat secretary, must face the challenges of rural governance.

Season 4 of Panchayat is reportedly planned to premiere in 2026. Turning the clock back a little, the first season premiered in 2020, and the second and third in 2022 and 2024. Due to the two-year interval between each season, the fourth one is probably scheduled to premiere in 2026.

The upcoming season is much awaited by viewers as it will solve many of the unresolved questions from the previous season, including who attacked Pradhan Ji and whether Abhishek will ultimately pass the CAT exam.
