Raj Anadkat and Munmun Dutta Got Engaged?: Look What They Had to Say About it.
Summary: Reports of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah stars Raj Anadkat and Munmun Dutta’s engagement surfaced online, but the actors denied the rumors.
Hours after reports of the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actors getting engaged surfaced online, both Raj Anadkat and Munmun Dutta responded to the same. Raj has played the popular character ‘Tappu’ in the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, while Munmun can still be seen playing ‘Babita Ji’.
Both actors have denied the rumors of getting engaged. The rumors said that actor Munmun Dutta and Raj Anadkat got engaged in a private ceremony in Vadodara. But moments after the news surfaced online, both actors refuted the engagement rumors.
Munmun, in an interview with the Times of India, said, “The news is ridiculous, fake, and ludicrous. There’s not an ounce of truth in it. And to be very honest, I don’t want to give my energy to these fake rumors that keep coming up again and again.” While Raj took to his Instagram account and wrote, “Hello everyone, Just to clarify a few things, the news that’s been surfacing on social media is baseless and false.”
This isn’t the first time both Raj and Munmun have found themselves in a web of rumors together. Earlier, the actors were rumored to be in a relationship in 2021, to which both actors released a statement denying the rumors.
Raj wrote, “To everyone who has been constantly writing rumors about me, please think of the consequences that can happen in my life because of your false and cooked-up stories, and that too about my personal life without my consent. All the creative people out there, please use your imagination and creativity somewhere else; it will be helpful to you. May God bless you with good sense.”
Meanwhile, Munmun also shared a lengthy message, saying, “To the general public, I had far better expectations from you. But the dirt that you have showered in the comment section, even from the so-called ‘Literate’ ones, proves how regressive this society is. Women are constantly AGE-SHAMED, SLUT-SHAMED, and MOM-SHAMED, at the cost of humor. Whether your humor drives someone to the edge of a mental breakdown or not, it doesn’t matter to you. 13 years of entertaining people, and it didn’t take 13 minutes for any of you to RIP MY DIGNITY APART.”
