Summary: Ranveer Allahabadia lands in legal trouble for making an obscene comment on the show.

A lawsuit has been filed against YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina for allegedly "promoting obscenity," adding a legal dimension to the issue surrounding the show India's Got Latent.

Digital content creator Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as Beer Biceps, was a panelist on the most recent episode of India's Got Latent, hosted by comedian Samay Raina.

In the viral video, Beer Biceps was seen asking a contestant about parental intercourse in a lewd and sexual manner, which caused a major social media uproar as netizens questioned the boundaries of freedom of speech and censorship on digital platforms.

The Hindu IT Cell responded to the criticism by filing a complaint against Ranveer and India's Got Latent. The group posted on their X account that Akshit Singh has officially complained to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting about Samay and Ranveer in connection with "promoting obscenity."

The post read, "We have filed an official complaint with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting against @ReheSamay & @BeerBicepsGuy for promoting obscenity. Jai Hind.”

The show's general content has also drawn criticism for reportedly containing objectification, sexual humor, and racial statements. Many people think this type of content goes against the moral standards of entertainment.

Outrage led to an online campaign to boycott India's Got Latent and Ranveer Allahbadia. Many have demanded to unfollow him and unsubscribe to his channels saying that he in unworthy of all the fame and influence he enjoys.
