Meanwhile, the film news page Lets Cinema on X reported, "There are indications that #Dunki could be delayed from its initial December 22nd date due to extended post-production schedules. We are awaiting official confirmation."

Last month, the makers of the action thriller "Salaar" announced its December 22 theatrical release. Hombale Films shared a poster on Instagram with Prabhas, saying, "Coming soon! #SalaarCeaseFire Worldwide Release On Dec 22, 2023," depicting Prabhas with blood on his body.

Directed by Prashant Neel, the film stars Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Initially set for a September 28 release, it was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

At the "Jawan" success event, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that "Dunki" will be released around New Year and Christmas. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film also stars Taapsee Pannu. Shah Rukh emphasized his commitment to national unity through his film releases.
