Summary: 2023 has been a splendid year for our Bollywood Badshah King Shah Rukh Khan. From his first release of 2023, Pathan, to his very recent one “DUNKI”, he has broken records like anything else.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan, Jawan, and Dunki, performed super fantastic at the box office, with Pathan Collecting ₹1,117.39 crore worldwide, Jawan beating it with ₹1140.5 crore worldwide, meanwhile Dunki collected a total of ₹447.70 crore at the box office.

If the reports are right, it is said Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki is to be submitted for Oscars 2024. It’s not new for our bollywood king though, his earlier movies, “Swades”, that came in 2004, and “Paheli”, that came in 2005, were also submitted at Oscars, a very prestigious award.

There is no confirmed news about DUNKI to be submitted for Oscars. Maybe it is not, maybe it’s still in talks, or maybe it’s already been submitted, you never know.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki released on December 21, 2023. Crores of people watched Dunki in cinemas and made it one of the highest grossing films in India. On its first day, it collected a total of 30 crore (India). Till its 18th day it collected a whopping amount of ₹444.44 crore at the box office.

Dunki, a comedy film based on “Donkey Flight” , an illegal immigration tactic. It is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced under the banner Red Chillies Entertainment, Jio Studios and Rajkumar Hirani Films. The Screenplay is written by Kanika Dhillon, Abhijat Joshi and Rajkumar Hirani himself. It stars Bollywood actors, Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Anil Grover and Vikram Kocchar in the main leads.
