Summary: Vivek Agnihotri’s, The Delhi Files focuses on the Bengal Tragedy starring Mithun Chakraborty.

The teaser for the upcoming film “The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter,” was launched on Republic Day by Mithun Chakraborty, a veteran actor, creating curiosity about his character. Vivek Agnihotri directs the film, having previously directed The Kashmir Files in 2022 and The Vaccine War in 2023.

Mithun, dressed ruggedly and with a white beard, is seen in the video reciting the preamble to the Indian Constitution with a scorched tongue in a barren corridor. He limps as he speaks, appearing tired. The scene shifts to a larger frame showing the actor sitting beneath a mural of a girl holding the tricolor, with the words 'Welcome to Bharat' flashing on the screen in bold.

Agnihotri too shared the teaser with the caption, "Presenting: A tribute to the Constitution of India. From the makers of #TheDelhiFiles: The Bengal Chapter. Witness an epic untold story this Independence Day, 2025. Releasing worldwide. #RightToLife."

Abhishek Agarwal and Pallavi Joshi produced The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter, while Tej Narayan Agarwal and I Am Buddha Productions presented the film. It will be ready for worldwide release on August 15, 2025.

Earlier, Vivek Agnihotri took a walk down memory lane by sharing some heartwarming photos with the legendary Anupam Kher. He hopped on X (formerly Twitter) to share a video filled with nostalgic moments featuring him, his wife and producer Pallavi Joshi, and Anupam Kher.

Having worked with Anupam on films like as The Kashmir Files and The Vaccine War, Agnihotri acknowledged their bond and said he was "blessed" to have the seasoned actor in his life.

The caption read, "Kher Saab isn't just an incredible actor but a friend who's more like family. Whether on-screen or off, your warmth and wisdom make every moment unforgettable. @AnupamPKher, truly blessed to have you by my side.
