Double-plane balancing machine is a kind of equipment specially designed for double-plane dynamic balancing. Unlike a single-plane dynamic balancing machine that can only perform calibration on one plane, a double-plane balancing machine can perform calibration operations on two planes at the same time, usually a horizontal plane and a vertical plane.
Double-sided balancing machines have two balancing stations, one at each end of the rotating machine. Each workstation contains a support device, sensor system and calibration device. The machinery is mounted on a support and rotated. Sensor systems measure vibration signals from rotating machinery and convert them into electrical signals. The data processing unit receives and analyzes the vibration signals provided by the sensors to determine the location and size of the imbalance. According to the calculation results, the correction device can automatically or manually add or remove correction masses on the two planes to achieve balance correction.
