The Electronic Brake-by-Wire (EBW) system is an advanced braking technology that replaces traditional mechanical and hydraulic brake components with electronic controls. Unlike conventional braking systems, where physical components like brake fluid, master cylinders, and brake lines transmit the force from the driver?s foot to the brake pads, the EBW system uses electronic signals to control brake force. This innovation aligns with the growing trend of vehicle electrification and automation.The One - box braking system is a highly integrated design. It integrates components such as the electronic booster and master cylinder into a single unit. This integrated structure makes the braking system more compact in terms of physical space and takes up relatively little space in the front cabin of the vehicle, which helps automakers to be more flexible in designing the layout of the vehicles front cabin.The two-box braking system consists of an independent electronic booster (E-Booster) and a hydraulic control unit (HCU). These two components are relatively independent of the vehicles braking system and are connected to each other by means of specific pipework and interfaces. In contrast to the One - box system, the Two - box system is a relatively decentralised structure, and the connections and layout of the components require more space considerations. For example, when upgrading the braking system of some conventional fuel vehicles to EHB (Electro-Hydraulic Braking), the Two - box system may be easier to retrofit on the basis of the original braking system layout, as the function of the individual components is clearly defined, and it is easier to interface with the conventional mechanical components.
