The movie showcased the events that led to genocide of the Kashmiri Hindus. Some people highly criticized the movie saying that it is a propaganda, it was the most controversial movie of 2022.
The Kashmir Files also mentioned Article 370, but the movie never touched the topic too deeply. Now two years later, the film “Article 370” directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale focuses on the history of article 370 which gives a special status to the people of Jammu & Kashmir. The movie showcases the events that led to the abolishment of Article 370.

You can say that Article 370 is an extension to The Kashmir Files, but from a different perspective and lens. The film doesn’t get involved in the propaganda and only sticks to the story and states facts just like they happened. Watching the movie you will know the filmmaker has done the thorough research and that is the winning point of the movie.
