The couple revealed in February of this year that they were expecting their first child. Ranveer and Deepika confirmed on Instagram that the baby was due in September 2024. Since then, they've only made public appearances together at the lavish Ambani wedding.
Ranveer seemingly put an end to the rumors during an event on Wednesday. When asked which jewelry items he loved the most, the actor said that his wedding band was one of his most prized possessions. The actor talked about his wedding ring in an interview with Vogue, saying, "Personal, sentimental value attached to them is my favorite, most valuable item." "This is one of the rings that I cherish the most; my wife gave it to me on our wedding day," stated Ranveer. "An engagement ring made of platinum is the other one. Of course, there are also my grandmother's pearls and my mother's diamond earrings."
Ranveer and Deepika married in November 2018, and they are now gearing up to welcome their first child in September 2024. Deepika will next appear in the film Singham Again. She will play Shakti Shetty in the Rohit Shetty-directed action picture, which also stars Ranveer, Ajay Devgn, and Kareena Kapoor.
