Thursday saw The Hollywood Creative Alliance unveiling nominations for the ASTRA Awards 2024, a global collection. "Jawan" finds its place alongside box office hits like Barbie, Oppenheimer, Killer of the Flower Moon, John Wick, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and more.
"Jawan" secured a nomination in the Best Feature category at ASTRA Awards 2024, representing India alongside global entries like Anatomy of a Fall (France), Concrete Utopia (South Korea), Fallen Leaves (Finland), Perfect Days (Japan), Radical (Mexico), Society of the Snow (Spain), The Taste of Things (France), The Teacher’s Lounge (Germany), and The Zone of Interest (United Kingdom).

The Hollywood Creative Alliance, originally established in 2016 as the Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society and later renamed Hollywood Critics Association in 2019, underwent a second name change in 2023. The organization rebranded its awards as The ASTRA Awards. Winners of these awards will be announced on February 26, 2024, in Los Angeles.
In addition to Shah Rukh Khan, the cast of Jawan included key roles played by Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, with Deepika Padukone making a special appearance. Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Eijaz Khan, Lehar Khan, and Girija Oak were also part of the film's ensemble.
