Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. Earns First Portugal U15 National Team Call-Up

Summary: Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., 14, will make his international debut with Portugal's U15 team in the Vlatko Marković Tournament in Croatia.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., the 14-year-old son of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, has received his first call-up to Portugal's Under-15 national team. Ronaldo Jr., who currently plays for Al-Nassr's junior program in Saudi Arabia, will represent Portugal at the Vlatko Marković International Tournament in Croatia from May 13 to 18, competing against teams including Japan, Greece, and England.

Ronaldo Jr.'s football career is similar to his father's, having previously played in youth setups at Real Madrid, Juventus, and Manchester United. Despite being born in the United States and spending significant time in Spain, his selection for Portugal indicates a commitment to his father's homeland.

Cristiano Ronaldo Sr., who continues to play for Portugal at 40, expressed pride in his son's achievement, sharing the squad announcement on social media with the caption, "Proud of you, son." The elder Ronaldo holds the record for both the most appearances (219) and international goals (136) for Portugal.

Ronaldo Jr.'s achievement not only demonstrates his unique skills but also the possibility of carrying forward the Ronaldo legacy in the international football space.
