Gukesh celebrated his historic victory with an inkling of outdoor adventure after becoming the youngest world champion in chess history and the only Indian to do so after Viswanathan Anand.

He shared the video with the caption, “I did it.” He was at the Skypark Sentosa, Singapore. In the video, you can see him getting ready and when asked, how he feels about his first bungee jump he said he is “scared” but also looking forward to experiencing it.

On Monday, Gukesh made a victorious homecoming to his birthplace, Chennai, where he was greeted by reporters and admirers at the airport upon his arrival to India. Despite his young, Gukesh has already made a name for himself as one of India's biggest stars. 

Earlier this year, he helped the nation win the Olympics in Budapest, where his outstanding performance on board one enabled the men's team to win the gold medal, making it a historic double for the Indian delegation.
