DC vs GT: IPL 2024 highlights: Delhi Capitals beat Gujarat Titans by 4 runs.

Rishabh Pant scored an unbeaten 88 to help the Delhi Capitals defeat the Gujarat Titans by four runs in the IPL 2024 match on Wednesday at Arun Jaitley Stadium. Pant (88 not out of 43 balls) and Axar Patel (66 off 43 balls) made opposing fifties that pushed the Delhi Capitals to 224–4. 

In the next inning, Sai Sudarshan (65 off 29) and David Miller (55 off 23) both hit fifties but were unable to help GT win the match, finishing at 220 for 8 in their 20 overs. Earlier, Axar and Pant formed a 113-run partnership to keep the innings going after medium pacer Sandeep Warrier (3/15) dismissed the top three.

Rishabh Pant was fiery in Mohit Sharma's final over of the inning, scoring 31 runs with four sixes and a single boundary to help the Delhi Capitals record 224/4 against the Gujarat Titans on Wednesday. Tristan Stubbs scored 26 on seven balls. 

Rashid Khan's outstanding performance in the last over was not enough for GT, as DC won this last-over battle by only four runs. 

David Miller and Rashid Khan's batting proficiency in the death overs nearly drove GT to victory, but the 225 target proved too much for Shubhman Gill's team. Sai Kishore's blitz was important in taking the match to the final over. 

The DC bowlers started the match with a lot of commitment, but their lack of determination in the death overs remains a negative highlight in IPL 2024. Despite the two dropped catches, DC fielded exceptionally well, particularly Tristan Stubbs, Axar Patel, and Jake Fraser McGurk. 

GT's top-order issues are back, forcing them to build a stronger foundation before moving on to the most difficult stages of the tournament.
