A big name and star batter missing from India's squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is KL Rahul. Also, this would be Rishab Pant’s first appearance in international cricket matches after his nearly fatal accident.

India is in Group A of the competition, alongside archrival Pakistan, Ireland, Canada, and co-hosts the United States. Their campaign starts off on June 5 against Ireland at the newly constructed Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, followed by a match against Pakistan in one of the most anticipated T20 World Cup matches.
