India vs. Australia 3rd Test Day: The unpredictable weather holds the team back.

Summary: In Brisbane, rain has caused early stumps, but India has survived a challenging stretch of play. 

Rain played a spoiler and caused India's top order to collapse once more. The only person who appeared at ease in the center was KL Rahul.

With India reeling at 51/4, Australia has jumped out to a significant lead in the match. When players like Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, and Yashasvi Jaiswal were dismissed while playing loose strokes, the top order fell apart once more.

The only one who appeared capable of surviving in the middle was KL Rahul. As he hit the loose balls for boundaries, he also avoided being defensive. KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma are out there, and when play resumes on Day 4, the two will try to win. India is still 394 runs behind.

With just the second ball of the innings, Mitchell Starc forced Yashasvi Jaiswal to drive straight to Mitchell Marsh at mid-wicket, giving Australia another outstanding start. As he pursued a wide delivery from Starc that found his thick outside edge, Shubman Gill also left quickly. 

Mitchell Marsh made an amazing grab leaping to his left as the ball flew towards the slips. In the first session, Australia made yet another significant breakthrough when Josh Hazlewood repeatedly exposed Virat Kohli's weakness outside off stump. As he discovered his edge, Pat Cummins also struck Rishabh Pant for the third time in the series. 

On Day 4, Australia will be out to swiftly finish their innings, therefore India will have their work cut out for them. India needs both batters at the crease to assist them avoid the follow-on as they are behind 394 runs.
