2023 has been a heavy year for ICT fans. Losing the World Test Championship was mostly neglected by many, but then came the one match against the mighty Australians that ended our dream campaign and hopes of winning a world cup for the next 4 years. But the show must go on. Although many cricket fans were waiting for the India tour of South Africa ( especially the two match test series ), to see the Indian Legends playing again for our country and rewriting history, by winning their first ever test series in South Africa. But the year 2023 has some different plans as the first match went into the favour of the Proteas, as they defeated The Indians by an inning and 32runs. As it’s a two match series, we got sure that India won’t be able to improve there run of not winning even a test series in south Africa and now ICT must win the 2nd test to draw this series and maintain their pride. But seeing the scorecard of the first match, it wasn’t an easy job. But destiny has some different plans.

The proteas won the toss and choose to bat. They has a simple plan of just scoring big runs and put India under pressure. But it was not an easy job to play the Indian deliveries. Especially Siraj showing his “Miya Magic” again by recreating a bowling performance similar to the Asia Cup final, between India vs Sri lanka. The Hyderabadi pacer got 6 wickets in his 9 overs with an economy of 1.7 completely destroying the proteas batting lineup. Along with both Bumrah and Debutant Mukesh kumar getting 2 wickets each. In return the Indian bowling line up could only score a total of 153 runs, while the last 6 indian batters got back into the pavilion contributing not even a single run. At the end of day one. SA came to bat again , losing three more wickets and now everything depends on the Batters that how they play this fast & bouncy pitch of Newlands, Cape Town. Stay tuned for further updates.
