“Jaiswal-Gill will Dominate World Cricket” Says Virendra Sehwag, Warns the Opposition

While Shubhman Gill on the third day of the second test match smashed a spectacular century against England. Jaiswal and Gill both have given us the reason to believe that they are set to overtake and represent the Indian Cricket Team globally.

Shubhman Gill was given an ultimatum before the start of the Vizag Test or he might be ruled out. The last time Gill scored a century was back in the first half of 2023. The other half was quite disappointing for a player like him. If he had not performed in Vizag, he would have been released and sent to play Punjab’s Ranji Trophy against Gujarat on February 09, 2024.

Gill told his family members, “I will go and play for the Ranji Trophy in Mohali against Gujarat.” Gill has a total of 10 international centuries, but the one he pulled yesterday was his most cherished one by the viewers.

Former Cricketer, Virendra Sehwag, on X, formerly Twitter, said these two youngsters will dominate world cricket for the next 10 years. Looking at their performance in the test we can certainly say that Sehwag’s prediction might become true in the coming days.

Sehwag said, “Happy to see two youngsters, both under 25. rising to the occasion and standing out. Chances are that these two will dominate world cricket for the next ten years and more."

Well this same incident happened 28 years ago, when Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly achieved the same acclaim back in 1996, in a test match against England. Tendulkar and Ganguly respectively scored 177 and 136 against england at Nottingham.
