Virat Kohli Shuts His Strike Rate Critics with His Outstanding knock and hits back at those speaking 'from a box'

Summary: Virat Kohli slams the trolls who talk about his low strike rate and shuts down the critics who comment from the box.

Virat Kohli addressed criticism about his strike rate against spin in the IPL after smashing a match-winning 70 off 44 balls against the Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad. Kohli's performance, in addition to Will Jacks' unbeaten 100* off 41 balls, helped RCB chase down 201 with four overs and nine wickets left.

Responding to a commentator's inquiry about his cricketing statistics, Kohli used the chance to take on his critics. Kohli said that he does not pay much attention to strike rates and instead focuses on winning games for his team. Kohli swiped at critics, particularly those using the commentary box, saying it is easier to sit and talk.

Virat Kohli said, "All the people who talk about strike rates and my inability to play spin properly are the ones talking about it. For me, it's about winning games for the team, and there's a reason why you've been doing it for 15 years. You've done it day in and day out, and you've won games for your teams. I'm not sure if you've ever been in that scenario yourself to sit and chat about the game from the box. People may talk about assumptions all day, but those who have done it all day know what's going on, and it's almost like muscle memory for me now."

Despite winning by nine wickets with 24 balls left, RCB is still at the bottom of the points table with three wins and seven losses. They have won their last two games; however, they only won one of the first eight.
