AI issues land Apple in big trouble, Google’s Sundar Pichai says sorry.

Summary: Apple’s AI leaking false information, and the users have been alerted.

Apple has fallen into the same trap as Google and Microsoft, which also had problems. The corporation is now witnessing the same problems that its users were experiencing when the AI went off track with its intelligence.

With the iOS 18 upgrade, Apple introduced a plethora of AI functions, however the new version is experiencing issues. The AI-powered notification summary app for Mac and iPhone users is allegedly the problem, and it appears to be making serious mistakes.

The AI summary function on Apple devices is giving false news information to the public that has been found and reported by media outlets such as the BBC. BBC News has sent alerts to its users of incorrect information. One such news circulated was, the well-known tennis player Rafael Nadal claiming to be gay in public, which is not true.

Google has gone through the same situation when its AI went haywire. Sundar Pichai, the CEO, had to issue an apology for the unfortunate mistakes.

Apple appears to have acknowledged the mistakes in its AI tool and is now requesting that users report instances in which their devices are sending out false information.
