Bhatt, who was set to play the iconic character alongside Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, cited scheduling conflicts as the primary reason for her departure. Fans who were eagerly anticipating the dynamic real-life duo’s on-screen interpretation of the most adored characters Ram And Sita were shocked by the news. The movie had already created a lot of hype in the entertainment world since it had promised to be a spectacle remake of an Old Indian epic Ramayana.

According to sources close to the actress, Bhatt was forced to withdraw from the Ramayana due to her hectic schedule, which includes obligations to numerous other film projects and endorsements.
