In a spectacular ceremony in Mumbai on Thursday, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis took the oath as Maharashtra's chief minister. After five years, Fadnavis returned as chief minister, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present at the Azad Maidan event.
Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar took oath as the deputy Chief Ministers of Maharashtra. Top Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Ranbir Kapoor graced the lavish event in Mumbai, which looked like a star-studded occasion. Well-known businessmen like Kumar Mangalam Birla, Anil Ambani, Anant Ambani, and Mukesh Ambani were also present.
Nearly 40,000 people attended the ceremony. Chief Ministers Yogi Adityanath, Bhajanlal Sharma, Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chandrababu Naidu, and Nitish Kumar also attended the oath-taking ceremony. Sachin Tendulkar and his wife Anjali Tendulkar were also seen at the event.
