Fighter Advance Booking itself pooled the amount of ₹3.50 crore by selling 1 lakh fighter tickets online. The reports have stated that ₹50,770 tickets were sold for the 3D version, while 36,454 sold for the 2D version. 5,201 tickets have been sold for IMAX 3D action and about ₹1,310 is sold for 4DX 3D experience. This is enough to show the craze of the movie among the audiences.

The film revolves around Shamsher Pathania as in Patty (Hrithik Roshan) who is set to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a member of the Indian Air Force. He will be the one to fight the negative forces and rise above his limitations to become a true hero. The film also stars Deepika Padukone as Minal Rathore (Minni), and other actors like Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Ashutosh Rana, Talat Aziz and Sanjeeda Shaikh.

We were in Kashmir and we had to lip sync a couple of lines, and it was freezing." she further said, “You can see the whole team together. You see us as a unit. It is a celebration. It's always fun.”
