IRCTC Begins Guru Kripa Yatra to Sikh Shrines on Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains from 5 April to 15 April 2023

Indian Railways is happy to promote India's religious and cultural heritage through an attractive tour plan. Its fleet of Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains will be running several holy sites concerning the Sikhism belief.  The Guru Kirpa Yatra will be for 11 days and 10 nights, starting on 5 April 2023 from Lucknow and ending on 15 April 2023. The decision comes at the event of Baisakhi, which will be celebrated nationally on 14 April 2023.

The destinations in the tour to be covered are visits to Sri Kesgarh Sahib Gurudwara and Virasat-e-khalsa at Anandpur Sahib, Gurudwara Sri Patalpuri Sahib at Kiratpur Sahib, Gurudwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib at Sirhind, Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Sri Harmandir Sahib at Amritsar, Sri Damdama Sahib at Bathinda, Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib at Nanded, Gurudwara Sri Guru Nanak Jhira Sahib at Bidar and Gurudwara Sri Harmandarji Sahib at Patna.

This all-inclusive tour package will mainly consist of a relaxing train ride in luxurious, ergonomically constructed coaches, entire meals both on and off the train, sightseeing, quality hotels for accommodation, and complete road transfers. The travelers will be able to one of the 3 categories in the train – Comfort, Superior, and Standard. The total capacity of the train is 678 passengers. These charges are applicable for a tour of 11 days and 10 nights. In addition, IRCTC will launch a second Guru Kripa Yatra on April 9 from Amritsar. The cost of the 6 Nights, 7 Days package, which includes Bidar, Nanded, and Patna, ranges from Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 32,000. The price of the all-inclusive trip package includes transportation and sightseeing in buses, all vegetarian meals, stay in the night at AC hotels, all transfers, guide services, and travel insurance. It also comprises the train ride cost according to the class.
