Kerala's COVID Tally Rises: 292 Fresh Cases and 3 Deaths – Stay Alert!

The state currently accounts for 88% of the total number of coronavirus cases in the country. According to the data, two people died from the coronavirus in the state in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 72,056.

The state health department has not released details about new cases or deaths. The state's Covid dashboard has not been updated since September 9, 2022.

Health Minister Veena George convened a meeting of top health officials on Tuesday, stressing the need to remain vigilant rather than spreading fear and panic. The meeting decided to introduce mandatory mask-wearing in all hospitals in the country. Special attention needs to be paid to Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam districts, where most of the new cases have been reported.
