While the Boeing 737 MAX 9's starting price is $118.5 million, which is roughly Rs 990 crore, Mukesh Ambani's investments in upgrades and customizations exceeded this amount.
According to a GQ story, the Boeing 737 MAX 9 has made extensive modifications at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (BSL) in Switzerland before landing in India. The interiors and cabin are customized according to Ambani's likes and dislikes, enhancing the aircraft to the peak of travel luxury.
With this new addition of aircraft to its fleet of nine private jets, Reliance Industries has grown to be one of India's biggest consumers of private aviation.
Apart from his business empire, Ambani also owns luxury vehicles, watches, jewelry, and obviously, private jets. India's most expensive private jet shows his taste for luxury and comfort.
The aircraft has a maximum range of 6,355 miles (11,770 kilometers) in a single trip. By being useful for private and professional travel, these jets also are a symbol of wealth with their exceptional privacy and comfort.
