Nawazuddin Siddiqui Comments on Big Budget Films Before His Upcoming Release of Jogi Sara Ra Ra

Nawazuddin Siddiqui opened his heart about big-budget movies in a talk before his upcoming film Jogi Sara Ra Ra, where the actor plays a jugaadi Jogi. The film is slated for release on 12 May 2023. The actor is supposed to have a solution to every issue in this movie as per the character’s role. He said that like before entering the cinema world, he used creative problem-solving like everyone else for several things.  In Jogi Sara Ra Ra, Nawazuddin is a matchmaker-cum-wedding planner. The characterization is such that the actor has to find the right match for people.

However, he is unable to do so for Dimple. Neha Sharma, who plays the role of Dimple clashes often with the star, as she does not want any association with matchmaking. Nawazuddin recalled Neha Sharma as easygoing and his work experience on the set was simple and peaceful. He found Neha to surpass his expectations after watching her performance. The actor also liked her work and praised her efforts. He also said that people can connect with her performance as the actress has a strong grip on her language.

Neha Sharma has earlier worked in the film Crook. It was a debut for her. And then she did star in a few films but they were not a hit. While people remember Neha as a pretty face, they are not much sure her film choices are great. But Nawazuddin asks what are great films in our country. People sometimes do not find big films a great choice, despite referring to them. And it is these films that are spoiling the industry name.

Also, big-budget movies are seldom successful these days and he fears that one day the film industry will shut down because of these. He also noted that big stars and such films are flops nowadays. He feels that a film should be meaningful no matter if it is small or big. The movie should not be done because it had a big budget. Rather the focus should be on its value and content. For instance, one of the big films – Bajrangi Bhaijaan was a correct film as it has some elements in it, and it had a meaning for the audience.

The actor revealed that sometimes he feels like becoming a monk. He wishes of leaving everything behind, and that he had a plan before graduation. But then he clarified that it is not because of the pressures of stardom that he feels this way as the industry does have such pressures. But it is what comes from your inner being and the pressure that you place on yourself. Nawazuddin said that your personal self is more important.

The acclaimed celebrity also said that you are answerable to yourself. It is more eminent than anyone else in the industry. He said that one can only think right if they remain neutral and he tried to be that. However, the fact is that decisions can go wrong when you are sad or happy. And with this, the Jogi Sara Ra Ra leading protagonist ended his statement.
