On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially launch several development initiatives in the nation's capital, including two urban redevelopment projects and 1,675 apartments for JJ cluster residents.

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially launch and lay the groundwork for seven significant infrastructure projects in Delhi, including those of housing, education, and business.

New Delhi University (DU) campuses, a World Trade Centre (WTC) in Nauroji Nagar, government buildings in Sarojini Nagar, and a massive slum rehabilitation project in Ashok Vihar are among the leading projects.

The Delhi Development Authority's (DDA) second successful In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project will be completed with the opening of freshly built apartments.

PM Narendra Modi Ji posted on his X, “Today is an important day for Delhi's development. At a program in Ashok Vihar, will be inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for a wide range of development works which will boost 'Ease of Living' for the people of Delhi.”

"The projects include a cutting-edge academic block at the Eastern Campus in Surajmal Vihar, East Delhi, and another at the Western Campus in Dwarka. Additionally, the foundation will be laid for the Veer Savarkar College in Roshanpura, Najafgarh, designed to embody excellence in education with state-of-the-art facilities."

At approximately 12:10 p.m., Prime Minister Modi will be at Swabhiman Apartments in Delhi’s Ashok Vihar to inspect the newly constructed apartments for the residents of the Jhuggi Jhopri (JJ) clusters, which are part of the In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project.

The inauguration will begin at 12:45 p.m., laying the foundation for several development projects in Delhi.

With the right amenities and facilities, the project aims to give the people who live in Delhi's JJ clusters a better, healthier living environment.
