Tata Tiago EV Partners with IPL 2023 with Great Offers and Boost the Electric Vehicle Market in India
The Tiago EV will be the official partner of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL), according to an announcement from Tata Motors. This will be the company's sixth consecutive year of cooperation with the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India). On 31 March 2023, the IPL season will get underway. The action demonstrates Tata's dedication to the electric vehicle market in India. The corporation wants to raise awareness of electric automobiles via this platform (EVs).
According to Vivek Srivatsa, Head of Marketing, Sales and Service Strategy at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, this affiliation with India's largest media brand would help us emphasize the value of EVs, not just in urban India but also in smaller areas. By supporting the quick uptake of EVs in India, they want to generate enormous value from this relationship and further the ongoing transformation toward the future of mobility.
As the official partner of every IPL game, Tata Motors will display the Tiago EV at each of the 12 stadiums and interact with spectators through a variety of events. One of them is the "100 reasons to go EV with Tiago.ev" campaign, which tries to expose psychological obstacles to EV adoption and dispel widespread myths about EVs. The Tiago EV's distinctive selling characteristics are also highlighted in the campaign.
Tata Motors will contribute Rs. 5,00,000 as part of its IPL commitment to help increase the biodiversity of coffee crops in Karnataka. The company will plant trees whenever the Tiago EV display car is struck by the ball. Tata EV owners will also get select match tickets. Since 2018, Tata Motors has been a partner of the IPL and has featured a number of products, including Harrier, Safari, Punch, Nexon, and Altroz.
The Tiago.ev Electric Striker Award, which honors players with the highest strike rate throughout each match, will also be presented during this year's IPL games. The victorious player will also earn a trophy and a monetary prize of Rs. 1 lakh. And the winner of the season's Electric Striker award will get to take home the new Tata Tiago EV.
