Thus, it is not easy for Dhar, who will be representing the story of Ashwatthama as a part sci-fi and part-mythological character in his own way.
The concept of the movie as per the Bollywood news is derived from Ashwatthama, a prominent individual to have surfaced in the era of Mahabharata. Saini said that the team comprises art directors and production designers. And in a project like this, one has to synchronize everything in one visual. To ensure cohesiveness, they have to take care of costumes, art, hair, special effects, and make-up. As this Bollywood film depends mostly on VFX, Dhar has been spending time focusing on getting the technical aspects of the project right.
Saini said it is a delight to work with such a director as Dhar understands what has to be done and what he wants. The Bollywood news always praises attention to detail in movies. For instance, Dhar knows the kind of carving a bow or arrow will have while they are designing it, and the material that will be used in the making of those. Saini feels that for Bollywood cinema, The Immortal Ashwatthama will be the first of its kind to match up with the 2009’s Hollywood movie, Avatar.
According to Bollywood news, The Immortal Ashwatthama will probably release somewhere by the end of the year 2023. Saini has already stated that they will not rush in with the film and have to take a collective decision on it hitting the big screen and that a lot of research is happening for the project.
