Redmi is now set to launch the Redmi 14C, its entry-level 5G smartphone, in India. The phone will be on sale on January 6, 2025. With the 14C, they hope to offer additional features over the Redmi 13C, released in 2023.

The Amazon ad provides some information, but the business will not reveal the forthcoming phone for some days. For example, it has a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 CPU and a huge 5160mAh battery power.

It has a similar design to Redmi 13C 5G, which was released in China last September. It will come in three colors: starlight blue, stardust purple, and stargaze black. It has a sleek waterdrop-style notch.

While the purple and black variations are monochromatic, the blue variant contains a trace of silver on top and blue on the bottom, resulting in a gradient effect. The phone is IP52 rated, water and dust-proof.

One of the features of the Redmi 14C 5G is a 6.88-inch 720p display with a rate of 120 Hz. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and guarantees efficient operation for daily duties. The X61 modem has a maximum download speed of 2.5 Gbps.

The smartphone has a large 5,160mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 18W. A 33W charger is included in the package.

The Redmi 14C has a 50-megapixel primary camera as part of its dual-camera arrangement. It also has some AI camera functions, however, the specifics will be disclosed at launch.

Staying true to their words and mission, the smartphone will be charged under ₹15,000, making it affordable to the public. Earlier, they launched Redmi 13C 5G for ₹10,999, and it became popular among budget-conscious shoppers.
