Penn Badgley will reprise his role as Joe Goldberg, the psychotic lover, who is also a serial killer. The upcoming season will be the last season of YOU. The first look dropped by Netflix shows Joe in shades of brown, black, and gray, roaming the streets of New York. Netflix dropped the picture with the caption, “Spotted: Joe Goldberg in New York City. The 5th and final season of YOU is now at the production stage.”

The cast includes Charlotte Ritchie as Kate and Madeleine Brewer as Bronte, who will play the character of a reckless playwright who wants to intrigue Joe. Justin W. Lo and Michael Foley will take over as show runners. The release date of season five is yet to be announced. As the shooting for the finale has begun, we can say that the show will go on the floor at the end of this year.
